DescriptionThe Scottish Cardiovascular Forum (SCF) aims to foster integration, encourage collaboration and assist in the dissemination of information among basic science and clinical cardiovascular researchers in Scotland. In recent years, membership has expanded to include colleagues from Northern Ireland, Northern England and Ireland. We welcome participation from across the UK and Ireland. The University of Aberdeen (Suttie Centre) will host the 26th Annual meeting of the SCF on Saturday 4th February 2023. We have an exciting and full programme for the day, including a civic reception. The reception will take place once the meeting has finished, in the historic Town House in Aberdeen City Centre (Town House, Broad St, Aberdeen, AB10 1AQ). Our keynote speakers are Professor Cherry Wainwright (Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen), Dr Mary MacLeod (University of Aberdeen) and Dr Jane Dymott (NHS Grampian). The majority of presentations (both oral and poster) at the SCF will come from early career scientists, therefore making it a great conference for PhD students and postdocs to present their research. The official website, and prelimary programme can be found here.
