Part-time General English Beginners Daytime Course

English Lessons for Beginners Daytime Course - Open to All

Are you new to English?  The University's Language Centre can help.  We are offering a 5-week block of classes open to all.

This is a part-time course which is campus-based.

If you would like to register your interest for this course, please add your name to the waitlist /register interest.  We will contact you to arrange the course booking.  The course has been confirmed and will run, we have spaces available and welcome your interest in booking a space on the course. 

Enrolment deadline is Thusday 23 April at 12:00.

Course Duration: 

5 weeks

Classes are held 2 days a week on a Monday and Thursday.  All classes last for 2 hours.

Course Description

The course is scheduled to run as follows:

Course Overview:

Beginners English course focusing on vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills.

- Develop your confidence and ability to communicate in English
- Improve your pronunciation
- Increase your word power

The course is designed for beginners. At this level, learners can:

-        Communicate using simple phrases and familiar expressions.

-        Introduce themselves and others.

-        Ask and answer simple questions about personal details. 

-       Understand basic instructions and engage in simple conversations. 

Please note that these courses are not assessed. You will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.
