The album faithfully presents the rich culture of Stanley Robertson's childhood absorbed from the home, in the playground and on the street. This double CD features seventy-eight songs, jingles and rhymes, grouped under nineteen headings, plus eight superbly told stories. As Keyworker for the Heritage Lottery-funded project on the oral and cultural traditions of Scottish Travellers, Stanley visited many schools, where he sang songs, told stories, and talked about the rich cultural traditions upheld by Scottish Travellers. The CD album was recorded in response to many requests he had that he should record his own childlore and that of his family. The CD booklet contains full lyrics and notes to the songs.
