This is a two week course for students of our partner institutions by special arrangement.

Dates:       Sunday 4th August to Sunday 18th August

Price:        £2200

Deadline:  Please note enrolment will close Monday 13th May at  5pm.

Please complete the application form and submit to [email protected]. If possible, please submit the application in MS word format.  

Please refer to the Terms and Conditions on the application form before paying your course fees. 

Fees Include:

  • 14 nights’ accommodation in Self- catering flats. Individual study bedrooms and shared kitchen and bathroom facilities, bed linen, and basic cooking utensils.  Possibility of purchasing additional nights to accommodate travel.   

  • 24 hours of English language tuition

  • 2 full day and 3 half day excursions

  • Welcome & graduation and certificates events.

Course Description

English Language  

Really boost your communication skills in English by studying English in the UK. Both inside and outside the classroom you will find opportunities to practice your English in a city that is both safe and friendly. During class you will develop your academic communication skills. Classes will take place Monday – Friday 9-12 and will include: 

  • Access to online platform with materials. 

  • Small group teaching.  

  • Effective Organisation of your writing.  

  • Taking part in Seminars.  

  • Academic expectations & academic integrity.  

  • Experiencing the University and various disciplines (visits to different schools in the University). 

Trips, excursions & events  

During the course we will organise social events, excursions, and local trips so that you can see more of Scotland and understand more about its culture and people. These might include a visit to: 

  • Edinburgh during its world-famous festival 

  • Highland games 

  • Local castles & gardens 

  • Royal Deeside 

  • Glasgow high street shopping 

  • Stunning mountains and beautiful beaches  

Other things that you can do in Aberdeen:   

  • Go dolphin spotting near Aberdeen harbour. 

  • Try out your swing at the local golf range. 

  • Check out Aberdeen Art Gallery voted Scotland’s best building in 2021! 

  • Enjoy some award-winning fish and chips. 

  • Attend some of the many concerts & events.
